Alexanders and its related
corporate management company, Alexander Management Ltd.,
were formed at the beginning of 2005 as a boutique practice
of Bermuda corporate and commercial law.

Alexanders specializes in the
creation of offshore structures, utilizing companies, trusts
and other vehicles for commercial purposes, as well as for
private and charitable wealth management. The Firm also
has expertise in the formation and administration of
subsidiaries for high-tech companies and advises clients
regarding all aspects of their Bermuda operations.
The principal of both the firm
and company is James Watlington, Barrister & Attorney.
Prior to forming the Firm, he was Legal Advisor and Head of
the Legal Services Department of the Bermuda Office of
Deloitte & Touche, which, through its various
offices, provided specialist accounting, audit and taxation
advice, as well as actuarial, commercial and consultancy
services to individuals and institutions worldwide.
Mr. Watlington was called to the
Bar of England and Wales in 1975 and Bermuda in 1976. He
has worked in the financial services sector in Bermuda and
Asia, where he founded and headed the Hong Kong office of
the Bank of N. T. Butterfield & Son Ltd. during the 1980s.
He has extensive experience in the formation and
administration of offshore corporate and trust structures
for clients on a worldwide basis.
